First of all Kerry is a great guy.
This kit is really good given the price. It is very easy to use, the optical slave function is quite responsive. The recycle time is pretty good overall. It is a good starter kit (for users like me) and it is easy to transport with two convenient bags. Other competitors sell student kits for more than $350 and the only benefit is that the ability to select more flash powers are there.

I picked up 2 yn-560 before Christmas to add to my collection of Three Sony f42 flashes($299each). The F42 offer great TTL wireless capability but I was all ways limited by the line of sight with was only effective for 30ft or less in most uses. YN-560 in combo with the "nice" radio triggers have proven to be more useful and reliable for OCF. I purchased another 2 YN's in Febuary because they are an amazing deal considering you can buy 2 flashes and triggers for less than 1 Sony flash!
